"For J's" Kalua Pork (Hawaiian Shredded Pork)
INGREDIENTS

5 to 5½ lb pork butt

1½ Tablespoon "For J's" Sea Salt

3 to 4 cloves garlic (minced)

6 Tablespoon liquid smoke

2 Tablespoon whiskey

¼ cup water

7 ti leaves [optional]
DIRECTIONS
- Line crock-pot with ti leaves [optional].
- Pour in ½ cup water.
- Rub "For J's" Sea Salt and fresh garlic over entire pork butt then place into crock-pot.
- Pour liquid smoke and whiskey over pork.
- Cover with more ti leaves [optional].
- Cook in crock-pot for 8 to 10 hours.
- When done, transfer pork to another pot or platter.
- Shred pork and mix in just enough broth from crock-pot to moisten meat.
- Add more salt if needed.
