"For J's" Ono Soybeans (Edamame)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb frozen soybeans
  • 1½ to 2 teaspoon "For J's" Sea Salt (any flavor)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Follow cooking direction on back of frozen soybean package.
  2. Place drained soybeans in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add "For J's" Sea Salt and toss to coat soybeans.
  4. Pour a thin layer of sauce on bottom of serving platter. [Optional]
  5. Place prepared soybeans over layer of sauce and serve with extra sauce drizzled over soybeans or on the side.

Sauce (optional)

INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ cup shoyu (light soy sauce)
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 dashes Togarashi (Japanese chili pepper)

DIRECTIONS

Combine ingredients; mix until sugar dissolves.
