"For J's" Onolicious Pork Roast

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 lb pork butt(boneless)
  • Tablespoon "For J's" Sea Salt
  • 3 to 4 cloves garlic (sliced)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Insert small paring knife (2 to 3 inches deep) all over roast for just the right amount of garlic slices.
  2. Insert garlic slices in each pocket.
  3. Rub "For J's" Sea Salt all over pork
  4. Marinate overnight in refrigerator.
  5. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  6. Place pork in pan, fat side up & uncovered.
  7. In preheated oven, roast for 1hr & 20 minutes checking with a meat thermometer periodically until it reaches 160°
  8. Let roast rest for 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.

Gravy

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can chicken or beef broth

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add broth to drippings.
  2. Transfer to sauce pan.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste if needed.
  4. Thicken by adding cornstarch/water mixture or flour/water mixture and bring to a boil to preferred thickness.
